Application of Remote Sensing Technologies in Forestry

Possibilities for creating and applying LIDAR and multispectral aerial and drone imagery in forestry.
The training will present methods for identifying the position and height of individual trees within forest stands using remotely sensed data, as well as determining the timber volume of the examined stands based on these data and known statistical relationships.
The event is organized by the Pro Agricultura Hargitae Universitas Foundation with the support of the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture.
