About

Hargita Mădăraș, also known as the Holy Mountain of Szeklerland, is situated on the volcanic mountain range of the Eastern Carpathians. Its majestic altitude offers amazing and spectacular views of Harghita Mountain’s various peaks, like the Mihály havas, Rákosi havas, Madéfalvi Tető, Csicsói Harghita, just to mention a few. When the weather is clear, from there you can see the whole heart of Transylvania which is a substantial part of the Transylvanian Plateau.
At the foot of the mountain’s enormous heights, at the end of the dense forests and on the lap of the crystal clear streams is located the wonder-garden of the Gods: the valley of Izvoare. This magical place is situated 23 km away from Odorheiu Secuiesc and it is about 1630 m above from sea level. This majestic glade is the home of Mountain Paradise & Wellness Pension.
In this milieu, surrounded by pine trees, our bodies become able to fill up with fresh air, forgetting about the problems and harmful bustle of everyday life. We slowly get far away from the source of stress, and peace and calm settles on our souls. In addition to the majesty of the landscape this newly built guest house offers quality and prime accommodation every day of the year. Our 350 m2 surface provides an ideal condition for a quiet relaxation, accommodating up to 11 people. Our pension has 5 separate entrance rooms, four of them are for 2 persons and one for 3 persons. The rooms are equipped with king-size bed, private bathroom, LED TV, pay satellite channels, free WIFI, and safe box.
The living room has two huge couches where you can relax, and a mini bar for some refreshments. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, and coffee machine which makes delicious coffees. During wintertime the heat is provided by a fully automated underfloor heating installation and radiator heating, while during the summer the chilled climate is provided by the fresh scent of pine trees. Smoking is forbidden in the building and pets are not allowed too. We provide free closed parking with camera surveillance in the yard.
The house has also a wellness section: dry sauna for 10 people, Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi for 6 people, and salt water hot tub for 12 people. These wellness services can be ordered separately.
During the summer season you can acquire the tricks of archery, however for the winter sports enthusiasts the ski resort of Hargita Mădăraș is only 10 km away.

Our pension is located near E578 European road at Csíkkarcfalva / Cârța, in Szeklerland - Transylvania. It is situated 23 km away, North from county headquarter Miercurea Ciuc / Csíkszereda. For a long time the village was the centre of Upper Csík (Felcsík / Ciucul de Sus), once it was district residence as well. Administratively, it forms one community with Csíkszenttamás / Tomești and Jenőfalva / Ineu, of which number of inhabitants was 5,785 in 1992 (except of 20 Romanians and 29 Gypsies they were all Hungarians) The community centre, Csíkkarcfalva / Cârța has 1,291 inhabitants. The main attraction here is the Csíkkarcfalva / Cârța Roman Catholic church-fortress. Who wish to visit us has to turn left on Dánfalva Northern part, at the railway barrier. Csíkkarcfalva has a train station if somebody would prefer to come by train to visit it. The former Ábránfalva and Tótfalva melted into the village's border in the 17. century because of Tatars attack.  Our village lies on the foot of Magyaros peak (782 m) in Upper Csík area. It was the member of an alpine shareholder community called 'Hatfalu" mountain area. Várbükke is a place, where are the traces of an old castle. The residents know about his ironstones.
