About

Hargita Mădăraș, also known as the Holy Mountain of Szeklerland, is situated on the volcanic mountain range of the Eastern Carpathians. Its majestic altitude offers amazing and spectacular views of Harghita Mountain’s various peaks, like the Mihály havas, Rákosi havas, Madéfalvi Tető, Csicsói Harghita, just to mention a few. When the weather is clear, from there you can see the whole heart of Transylvania which is a substantial part of the Transylvanian Plateau.
At the foot of the mountain’s enormous heights, at the end of the dense forests and on the lap of the crystal clear streams is located the wonder-garden of the Gods: the valley of Izvoare. This magical place is situated 23 km away from Odorheiu Secuiesc and it is about 1630 m above from sea level. This majestic glade is the home of Mountain Paradise & Wellness Pension.
In this milieu, surrounded by pine trees, our bodies become able to fill up with fresh air, forgetting about the problems and harmful bustle of everyday life. We slowly get far away from the source of stress, and peace and calm settles on our souls. In addition to the majesty of the landscape this newly built guest house offers quality and prime accommodation every day of the year. Our 350 m2 surface provides an ideal condition for a quiet relaxation, accommodating up to 11 people. Our pension has 5 separate entrance rooms, four of them are for 2 persons and one for 3 persons. The rooms are equipped with king-size bed, private bathroom, LED TV, pay satellite channels, free WIFI, and safe box.
The living room has two huge couches where you can relax, and a mini bar for some refreshments. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, and coffee machine which makes delicious coffees. During wintertime the heat is provided by a fully automated underfloor heating installation and radiator heating, while during the summer the chilled climate is provided by the fresh scent of pine trees. Smoking is forbidden in the building and pets are not allowed too. We provide free closed parking with camera surveillance in the yard.
The house has also a wellness section: dry sauna for 10 people, Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi for 6 people, and salt water hot tub for 12 people. These wellness services can be ordered separately.
During the summer season you can acquire the tricks of archery, however for the winter sports enthusiasts the ski resort of Hargita Mădăraș is only 10 km away.

Three of the rooms are twin bedrooms (2 with balcony), having enough room for a spare bed, if required. All rooms are with private facilities (shower and toilet) and have a TV set. Our stylish restaurant on the ground floor of the house can sit up to 50 persons. It is just the perfect location for business meetings, family celebrations and social evenings. The restaurant has splendid views over the Somlyó and the Hargita mountains. From spring to autumn enjoying fresh mountain air on the terrace is a must for our guests, breakfast can also be served here in good weather.

Our complex of buildings was renovated in 2007, and is divided in two parts: the quarters are on the first floor, and the restaurant, the bar, the kitchen, the toilets, offices, deposits are situated on the pit. The restaurant has 140 places, which are divided in two saloons: - the big saloon with 125 places - the protocol saloon with 15 places The restaurant also features a counter, without sitting places. The wall of this bar is decorated with the picture of well-known personalities hosted by us, and with the numerous certificates, trophies and medals won on national and international competitions. Seasonally, mostly in the summertime we have the possibility to assure another 20 places in our summer-garden, where also the furnace is placed. Tgis is the place where we bake our bread served in the restaurant. The big saloon is ideal for big events such as: weddings, christenings, smaller conferences, high school meetings, different parties, and so on.

Pensiunea Trăsura - Hintó Panzió

Situated at the foothills of the Harghita mountains, Pensiunea Trăsura - Hintó Panzió offers rooms with an LCD TV at the Northern end of the Odorheiu Secuiesc. Horse-drawn carriage rides and city tours can be arranged. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Hintó Panzió’s rooms also come with air conditioning and a fridge. Private bathrooms come with a bath or shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony with mountain views. On request, traditional dishes can be prepared by the hosts. There is a communal kitchen for guests to prepare meals and a communal lounge. Willing guests can take part in local farming activities or traditional customs. It is also possible to relax in the large courtyard or garden. Free secured parking is provided on site. The Harghita-Mădăraș ski slopes are 10 km away. The family-run Lázár Pension & Restaurant is located in the centre of Gheorgheni and comes with a restaurant and café, cosy rooms with private bathroom and free Wi-Fi in the entire property. The restaurant of the Lázár Pension serves regional dishes and also has a terrace. The garden is fitted with a playground for children. In January, 2019, we opened the Salt Cave CsodaSó - Miraculous Salt in Gheorgheni. With more than 8 tons of Himalayan salt and crushed salt bricks, you can use the salt benefits many times for your health.  Gheorgheni Train Station is 2 km away.
