About

Backed by decades of professional experience, Garden Proiect Ltd. was founded in 2006 in Căpâlnița, Harghita County. Our main activities include garden design, garden and park construction, the production of custom street furniture and playgrounds, as well as the retail and wholesale of automatic irrigation systems and ornamental plants.
Our continuously expanding garden centers in Căpâlnița (14 km from Miercurea Ciuc) and in Miercurea Ciuc next to Kaufland offer nearly 1,200 outdoor ornamental plant varieties, along with native fruit trees and berry seedlings from our own nursery.
We also provide a wide range of medicinal and culinary herbs, rock-garden and shade perennials, continuous-flowering climbing and landscape roses, tea hybrid and floribunda varieties (in packs or containers), flower bulbs, and specialized lawn seed mixes. Root-balled and container-grown plants have excellent frost resistance and can be safely planted throughout the growing season. We offer a one-year warranty on ornamental trees planted by our team.
In 2018, Garden Proiect became a committed partner of innovation and science with the launch of its In Vitro laboratory producing virus-free fruit propagation material. This led to our newest product line, RibOn — health-enhancing preparations based on blackcurrant.
In 2019, we opened our horticultural machinery shop and professional service center.

From the spring of 2018, the actor and director Szilárd Kányádi becomes the director of the theater.  The main goal of the Csíki Játékszín Theater is to satisfy and expand the cultural needs of the city and the region. During a season, he presents 5-6 premieres in the big hall and 4-6 in the studio, but he also invites numerous shows both from the country and abroad.  Our theater tries to enrich the cultural offer addressed to people between 3-18 years with a repertoire for children and young people.
