Platán Guesthouse offers the perfect retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax in the heart of nature. It’s an ideal choice for families and groups of friends seeking an unforgettable experience while enjoying the whispers of the pine trees, the beauty of the surrounding forests, and the breathtaking scenery.
The guesthouse is easily accessible yet located in a peaceful area, in the village of Ivo, close to Harghita Mădăraș. The property includes a 7-acre yard, where guests can relax, have a barbecue, and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. A clear mountain stream and a spacious terrace with garden furniture also belong to the house, offering a perfect spot for unwinding.
The guesthouse covers 150 m² and was built in 2009. It accommodates up to 14 guests in 6 double rooms, two of which are also equipped with children’s beds. The living room and dining area provide a shared space ideal for family gatherings, games, and watching TV. The fully equipped kitchen meets all your cooking needs.

We have a capacity of over 20 people simultaneously in our apartments and we are open all year round including holidays and vacations. At Orion Apartments you will be able to enjoy complete peace in the vicinity of the Harghita mountains and you will have all the comfort. The apartments house were recently built in 2019 and we have 4 rooms specially adapted for couples and not only, the capacity is 2 people plus in case of need it can be adapted to accommodate a child. Also, for larger families, or groups of friends, we have 2 apartments with a capacity for 4 adults plus a maximum of 3 children.
