About
Borsec/Borszék is a small, picturesque community in Harghita County, located in the heart of the Eastern Carpathians. It’s known for its natural beauty, historic mineral waters, and cultural heritage.
Tour Plan:
- Departure: At 8:00 AM from Praid/Parajd by minibus or car (8+1 seats).
- Travel to Borsec: A 1.5-hour scenic drive with optional stops.
- Arrival & Refreshments: After breakfast, stop for a drink at the Csíki Söröző.
- Hike: Explore the Fairy Glade and enjoy the landscape. Opportunities to observe wildlife and taste local mineral waters.
- Lunch: Picnic at a picturesque spot with your own food or eat at a local restaurant.
- Afternoon Activities: Optional bobsled ride and relaxation in the mineral baths.
- Return to Praid: Around 5:00 PM.
- Arrival & Dinner: Back in Praid with an option for dinner either at the guesthouse or at a local inn.
