Shepherd’s Day on the Hargita

The Hargita Mountains Community Development Association, operating under the Harghita County Council, is organizing the third edition of "Shepherd’s Day on the Hargita" on September 25, 2025, at Kükiland Manufactory in Zetea.
 The event aims to promote mountain farming, animal husbandry, and traditional rural practices. It supports local farmers and businesses, while also fostering mountain tourism.

The event will serve as a platform for discussing current issues in mountain agriculture, with Romanian and international experts sharing their knowledge in agriculture and rural development.

Key political stakeholders are also invited to encourage dialogue between professionals and policymakers. The mix of practical experience, scientific insights, and political perspectives is essential for the sustainable development of mountain areas.
