MaRó

The play explores the peculiarities of Romanian-Hungarian relations through ten slightly absurd scenes. The events take place in Transylvania, where ethnic pride meets inferiority complexes, feelings of domination clash with genuine grievances, sincere pain is intertwined with humor—all spiced, of course, with plenty of quarrels and bickering. Performed in both Romanian and Hungarian, with surtitles in both languages, the show is built in a realistic style, featuring witty language and situational comedy masterfully delivered by actors Raisa Ané, Benedek Huszár Botond, Csaba Ciugulitu, Piroska Fodor, Petra Badics, Cristian Bojan, and István Nagy.
