Based on the timeless story by Mihály Fazekas, this children’s musical returns to the stage in a refreshed version following its 2024 premiere.
The Háromszék Dance Theatre’s Lúdas Matyi is a modernized take on the classic: “Matyi still takes his revenge three times, but the methods are updated. The setting is more colorful, the goose is in love with Matyi, and Döbrögi is paired with a greedy, power-hungry wife,” says director Ferenc Novák.
