I AM STILL HERE

The Transylvania Bison Conservation Association cordially invites the public to a special contemporary art event taking place on June 8, 2026, in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania.

The central feature of the event is the exhibition “I AM STILL HERE”, which explores the relationship between the body, nature, and transformation. The exhibition offers a powerful visual and conceptual journey, highlighting the intertwining of the human body and the plant world, while drawing attention to nature’s regenerative and embracing power. Its aim is to open a dialogue about the vulnerability of human presence and nature’s ability to reclaim, transform, and reinterpret both the physical and symbolic body.

The exhibition was created by Bogdan Olarson, who has been working on the “I AM STILL HERE” photographic series for more than five years. His work investigates the boundaries between body, movement, and nature, with particular attention to fragile and protected plant species. His artistic practice combines dance, performance, and ecological thinking. Often emerging from extensive research processes, his creations seek to redefine the relationship between humans and the natural world.

The organizers warmly welcome all visitors to this unique artistic and intellectual event, situated at the intersection of contemporary photography, performativity, and ecological awareness.
