Drawing Contest for Hungarian Folk Tale Day
On September 30, we celebrate Hungarian Folk Tale Day – and this time, you can become the illustrators of your favorite stories!
On September 30, we celebrate Hungarian Folk Tale Day – and this time, you can become the illustrators of your favorite stories!
Would you like to show us your version of:
- the three-headed dragon
- the youngest prince
- or the magical golden horse?
Then grab a pencil, brush, marker – anything that leaves a mark on paper – and bring your favorite folk tale to life!
What you need to know:
- Open to primary school students (grades 1–4)
- Theme: any scene from your favorite Hungarian folk tale
- Technique: draw or paint with any materials
- Size: A3 drawing paper
- Submission deadline: September 28, 2025
- Where: Kájoni János County Library (main location)
Prizes: The best drawings will receive magical rewards, and the most beautiful artworks will be exhibited at the library on September 30!
