Blind date with a book

Starting November 24, 2025, we’re inviting everyone once again to go on a blind date at the Kájoni János County Library! We’ve wrapped up many beautiful new books ready to be borrowed, so the titles hidden beneath the wrapping paper will be a surprise for every reader — you’ll only find out at home whether the “date” was a success. We warmly welcome all book lovers who enjoy surprises!

Blind Date with a Book has become one of the most popular reading-promotion programs of the Kájoni János County Library in recent years. Those wishing to “go on a date” can find the pre-wrapped, brand-new books on the first-floor lending area. These books were recently purchased with the support of the Harghita County Council. Only a short hint relating to the book’s content or genre will help readers choose their “date.”
Each reader may select and borrow one book at a time from the blind date collection.
