Viktor Zichó: On the Paths of the Soul – Biking Across Bhutan

For the first time in Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda, Viktor Zichó’s film “On the Paths of the Soul – Biking Across Bhutan” will be shown on the big screen!
After the screenings, there will be a Q&A session with Viktor Zichó.

In the spring of 2024, Viktor Zichó and Tshering Dendup became the first in the world to complete the Trans-Bhutan Trail by bicycle. During their journey, they gained deep insight into Bhutan’s rich culture and breathtaking landscapes.
Zichó was deeply impressed by Bhutan’s environmental policies and by the way Bhutanese people think in cycles and practice their religion.

For most of the journey, his companion was Merrick, photographer and videographer for the Humans Being Project, whom he met five years ago in Tajikistan. Merrick partially documented this unique bikepacking expedition.
